Fibroids are fairly common amongst women of reproductive age in Canada. In fact, it’s one of the most common reasons for a woman to visit their gynaecologist. Fibroids are non-cancerous growths on the uterine tissue, and can cause a multitude of symptoms that vary between individuals.
